What I Wore | Outfit of the day | Christening Outfit

Last Sunday was such a beautiful day, not only was the sun beaming down on us but it was the day that I got to witness my nephew and niece be Christened.!!

Now, its not every day you go to a Christening… and believe me when I say, I had a nightmare choosing the right outfit for such a special occasion. I must have ordered 5 outfits before finding the perfect one! – No joke.!! I went from a high waist skirt and blouse, to a short dress, then a skater dress, to a co-ord set, and finally settled for a simple yet elegant over the knee boob tube dress.

I ordered this from and was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. At £20.00 its fair to say I wasn’t expecting much, but when I unpacked it and felt the thick, soft, smooth material, I was chuffed! The material is so silky and almost un-creasable! Its a boob tube that comes in at the waist and just falls down, below the knee… keeping it classy. Obviously.! The colours were perfect for a summers day with pastel yellows, pinks, purples and greys – making it easy to accessorize with my cream  Primark court heels and matching clutch bag. Here is a few shots of what the outfit looked like :-

For those wondering, my sister’s dress is also from, available at £18.00 – bargain but beautiful!!

I’m a comfortable size 12, but like most girls I have my insecurities – my belly is my biggest! I get bloated so easily and always let it affect what I wear. This dress was perfect as it just flowed straight over my belly, it didn’t hug it and I felt confident in it all day long! Top marks!!
